Dear MendMeShop, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for providing me with such great products. I am a 43 year old male that enjoys playing Basketball, jogging and other competitive sports. Over the last few years i have had the misfortune of having to deal with Plantar Fasciitis.
Last year I had suffered a pretty bad injury playing basketball. So, I logged on to your website and purchased an ultra sound device and gel from your company.
I am pleased to say that the ultra sound device helped me significantly with the healing process. Since my initial injury, I have had a couple of Plantar Fasciitis flare-ups, having the ultra sound device and gel has helped me recover from these in a timely manner.
Hopefully, with the aid of your products I can continue to play hard, even well into my golden years.
I would definitely recommend your products to anyone who may be dealing with Plantar Fasciitis.
P.S. I would also like to extend a special thanks to your great Customer Service team. Rating: David Burgos Dear MendMeShop, Two years ago, I was diagnosed with Achilles Tendonitis and Plantar Fasciitis, I have no idea as to how I became injured, but it was there and it became so difficult to walk at times, especially after getting up from a resting position that I had to seriously address it. I went to a podiatrist and after trying several treatments such as physical therapy, prescription orhtotics and acupuncture there was no improvement, so the subject of surgery was suggested by the podiatrist. I was totally opposed to surgery.
I heard about ultrasound therapy by a friend that told me it was used at times for sports injury. I found the MENDMESHOP on line, I spoke to them several times and the friendly staff gave me a great deal of information on the use of the ultrasound machine.
I purchased the ultrasound machine and after three weeks of use, I noticed a significant improvement in my condition, not only did I use the machine on the Achilles and Plantar tendons, but also my wife used it on a Rotator Cuff tear with the same results.
I am extremely satisfied with the therapeutic results from the machine and highly recommend the device. Rating: Bob Morales
More Plantar Facts:
The plantar fascia supports the arch of the foot in carrying the weight of the body.
Approximately 90% of women and 40% of men with plantar fasciitis are overweight.
It frequently affects athletes, people who are on their feet all day and those over 40 years of age.
Among professional athletes, plantar fasciitis is one of the 5 most common foot and ankle injuries.
If left untreated the condition could become chronic and can lead to a host of other issues.
Most sufferers are able to overcome the pain with non-invasive therapy.
Night splints prevent contraction and stretch your plantar fascia while you sleep to help with pain.
Treatment includes avoiding the activity, icing the inflammation, gently stretching and warming the area.
Ultrasound can speed plantar fasciitis recovery significantly.
Dear MendMeShop, I have plantar fasciitis, which began over 20 years ago and has gotten progressively worse. I stand for prolonged periods of time, often 5-8 hrs a day as a fine arts painter.
Spent approximately $1000 for various custom made inserts, tried several types of expensive shoes supposedly designed for plantar fasciitis, had two sessions of physical therapy at different clinics, sought treatment with a podiatrist who mainly wanted to do an expensive surgical procedure and offered no other treatment than more inserts. None really successful.
After about 2hrs researching plantar fasciitis on Google, I decided to try MendMeShop.
After about two weeks of scrupulous adherence the treatment plan outlined by MendMeShop there was a noticable decrease in pain and I am well pleased with the results so far. If improvement continues at the present rate I should be pain free before years end. Rating: David Farmer Dear MendMeShop, Praise God, for leading me to find the "Mendmeshop" website; and I specifically thank Him for His guidance in helping me decide whether or not to purchase the home ultrasound unit.
I have been using it for a month now and am extremely impressed with the remarkable decrease of pain after using it on areas with scar tissue resulting from breast cancer treatment. The surgical and radiated areas extend under my arm, where lymph nodes were removed, and around the ribs to my back. The entire area has been in unbearable pain and nothing else has helped at all. The softening of the scar tissue with the ultrasound and gel, along with using the cold vest which was included in the Upper Body Sports Training Pack, has helped tremendously.
Since I also have Fibromyalgia pain throughout the muscles of my entire body, the ultrasound is helpful for those issues, too.
Right now, I'm using it for the plantar fasciitis in my feet and am hoping for equally good results. The helpfulness and courtesy of staff at Mendmeshop are also very much appreciated. I hope more people dealing with severe pain will give the ultrasound a try, along with prayer.

Peroneal Tendonitis, Peroneal Tenosynovitis
There are a number of tendons in the foot which helps control movement while you are mobile (walking, running). The two major tendons that go around the outside of the ankle are called the peroneal tendons. They are important tendons because they balance the ankle and the back of the foot and prevent the foot from turning inwards repetitively, causing lateral (inversion) ankle sprains. Overuse and injury of these tendons causes weakness and mobility dysfunction. Normally, these tendons pass behind the bone on the outside of the ankle (fibula). In some instances, injury can cause the natural restraining mechanism to fail and allow the tendons to slip over the bone (Peroneal tendon dislocation). They are slightly weaker than the muscles and tendons on the inside of the ankle and are prone to injury as the ankle turns, rolls or becomes sprained.
Peroneal Tendon Dislocation / Tearing
Tearing or dislocation can occur in one or both of these tendons. This leads to pain, swelling, sensitivity and a sense of instability behind the outside of the ankle. They can also pop out of the supporting ligaments that hold them in place (a dislocation); once this occurs, continuous or recurrent dislocation and tearing is inevitable without immediate attention and repair. Stitching and at the worst, tendon replacement may be required for patients suffering from torn or dislocated peroneal tendon(s).
Treatment
Ultrasound is an excellent tool for reduction of swelling and pain when treating the injury. If treatment does not require surgery, rest the area, apply ice for 10-20 minutes at a time for at least 3 times a day. Do this to the injured area for the first day up to 3 days. Moist heat may be used after the acute swelling is improved and rest prevents further muscle injury. Ice will reduces initial inflammation and swelling and the moist heat circulates blood through the area to speed the healing process. This can be further helped by the use of ultrasound applications over the affected area, as it reduces swelling quickly and increases blood flow to the area, helping the tendon heal more quickly.
If stitching of the tendon is required, do not use ultrasound on the area until all scabbing or wounds on the skin surface are gone. On this occurs, regular ultrasound use will "work" the tendon, increasing its flexibility and softening scar tissue in the area.
The trick to any tendon injury is getting it to heal with minimal scar tissue formation and with as much realignment of tendon fibres as possible - something Radiant Energy is great at! Even with optimum healing there is always less elasticity in a previously injured tendon. The trick is to make sure you heal this the best you can, that way your chance of reinjury down the road is much lower than average.

Plantar Fasciitis is the inflammation of the ligament that runs along the arch of the foot.
This condition affects over 2 million Americans.
Sufferers experience an intense stabbing pain in the heel.
Heel spurs can be caused by plantar fasciitis.
50% of people with plantar fasciitis have heel spurs.
The pain is most severe in the morning after the tissue has contracted during sleep.
