Dear Paul, I wanted to e-mail you and let you know how things are going. In your last e-mail to me you made a very profound statement that I had never heard before. I have been to several doctors over the past 10 years and not any one of them ever told me that snapping hip syndrome was a manifestation of short leg syndrome. I truly think that many of my problems are layers that have had to have been slowly peeled away to find out what the problem is that is causing each and every one of them. I thought about the statement that you made and I applied it. Several years back I had a chiropractor tell me that I had short leg syndrome and that I had fallen arches in my right foot and leg. He ordered me an orthotic and a lift to make up the difference. My foot hurt all the time and my right hip hurt all the time and so I stoppd wearing them. A few years later I discovered that I had a bad right ovary. Once I had a doctor that agreed that it was bad and removed it and all that pain went away I was left with my right foot hurting. I found arch supports that made that better but then I had the bursitus and snapping hip syndrome symptoms. No Doctor knew what to do for me and basically tried to give me pain medication to cover it up. I don't want to cover anything up. I want to find the root of the problem and treat it. So, I got to thinking about your statement. (I know it seems like I am going around this same tree, but I will get there) My thought was that because of the pain I was suffering from my ovary, maybe with that all gone I should try the lifts again and see what happens. I am telling you...that one little statement you made took care of my bursitis and my snapping hip syndrome. I am no longer suffering from any of that. I am sleeping well at night. Thank you for your statement. You just don't know how much that has meant to me. You don't know me, you have never met me but you literally saved the quality of my life. It took me a few days after I read your e-mail to put two and two together so to speak but it was worth trying again. Thank you so much.

I'm treating a recent ankle sprain. The injury occurred while playing volleyball. RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) alone or in the past did not seem to really help. I've tried other herbal remedies that didn't appear to help or still took a long time to recover. I did an internet search for a quicker recovery process. I can tell immediately after each use that there is definitely less pain to the touch. And I always felt heat therapy worked better for me. Now I know why, because it promotes circulation and healing. That's why I also purchased the Inferno Ankle Wrap. At first I did not feel it was providing enough heat. However, my foot was always sweating after each use! With other solutions the temperature was never constant and sometimes I would burn my foot. I knew from my past ankle sprain on my other leg that it took forever to heal. Even 2 years later, I still felt it move. This time I wanted to make sure it did not happen again. I'm doing surprisingly well with my ankle so far. I played volleyball the following week and back to usual routine the week after, snowboarding one day and volleyball the next. Even though I'm not 100% yet after 3 weeks, I feel the Inferno Ankle Wrap has greatly attributed to my quick recovery! I would definitely recommend it and the customer service has been truly exceptional! Thank you!

All items purchased (Plantar Inferno and Freezie Wraps) are working out like a miracle. I have been suffering in both feet and the next thing I was looking at was surgery. NO WAY. I found your web site and pondered over the expense for a couple weeks. I then thought "what the hey, it is cheaper than my co pay portion for any surgery what do I have to lose". So I ordered. All I have to say is it is working FANTASTIC! Everybody in my household now wants to use my items for their ailments. My room mates Mother came over and noticed how well I was walking and asked me what I was doing with my feet to able to walk again. I shared and now she is thinking about buying the units. A BIG THANK YOU TO MENDMESHOP.

I was hesitant to purchase the dorsal night splint since I thought that it would be awkward to sleep with, but with a limited budget I decided to purchase the splint and the freeze wrap for treating plantar fascitis. Within less than 2 weeks I noticed that I could walk without pain when I got up in the morning! This was amazing, since it usually took several minutes of severe limping before I could walk normally in the past. I just did a trip with my husband where we walked on hiking trails for up to 5 miles each day and my foot did just fine. I was amazed that I could do all this with only 2 weeks of treatment!

When we spoke on the phone regarding my husband's improved foot condition a few days ago I mentioned that he thought the size of his heel spur was actually reducing as a result of using the wrap. I didn't want to write to you about that in my last email until I had a chance to actually look at the heel spur myself. Well, I looked at it this morning and my jaw dropped! It has shrunk I would say at least 80%. When it was at its largest size I estimate that it protruded about .75 of an inch. Until he started using the wrap, it was a huge, hard and ugly protrusion that made it difficult to wear shoes. When I looked at his heel this morning it barely was protruding at all, less than .25 of an inch at its highest point. Keep in mind that bone spurs are a hard mass that don't come and go. They are permanent, and the hard mass was something he had been living with for years, but now it has reduced to almost nothing. We are absolutely astounded and my husband is so excited. The $146.00 was well worth it, especially compared to the shoe inserts which cost over $400 and did nothing to reduce the size of the bone spur. And his foot feels great! I told him he should call the two podiatrists he has seen and tell them but I doubt that he will.

I was skeptical at first as to be expected with anything being purchased online, however I decided to take my chances and just go for it. I tried all that I could to heal plantar fascilitis and nothing seemed to work for me, and the things that did work were taking wayyy to long. I got to the point where I was beyond frustrated I was so devastated that I couldn't run, or even sit for more than 5mins without standing up with excrucitaing pain. I turned to aid my tendon and so far I have nothing but pleasantries to say about it. I ordered the Night splint and Inferno wrap and I use them everyday needless to say it has only been a week but I do see signs of serious improvement. It even almost seems like my healthy foot is getting jealous so sometimes I put the inferno wrap on it cause it is very soothing. I have only had it for a week so I cant give it a full 5 stars but I am expecting to be back in the next couple weeks updating my review with all pleasnt things Thanks.

More Plantar Facts:

The plantar fascia supports the arch of the foot in carrying the weight of the body.

Approximately 90% of women and 40% of men with plantar fasciitis are overweight.

It frequently affects athletes, people who are on their feet all day and those over 40 years of age.

Among professional athletes, plantar fasciitis is one of the 5 most common foot and ankle injuries.

If left untreated the condition could become chronic and can lead to a host of other issues.

Most sufferers are able to overcome the pain with non-invasive therapy.

Night splints prevent contraction and stretch your plantar fascia while you sleep to help with pain.

Treatment includes avoiding the activity, icing the inflammation, gently stretching and warming the area.

I began using the Freezie Wrap (8C) and the Dorsal Night Splint (7Cp) immediately when the package arrived. I followed the instructions. The only medicine I took was 2 or 3 200 mg ibuprophen per day. (I seldom take pain killers.) The plantar faciitis was in my left foot. When the treatment began, I could not walk without great pain and even when I sat still the pain continued. Within a few days the great pain was gone, and within a month I felt pain only after a lot of walking or ballroom dancing. Before receiving your devices, I began using plantar faciitis inserts in my shoes, but that alone did not cure the problem. Now, I use the devices only when I feel slight pain after a couple of hours of walking or dancing. You provide a quality product that is easy to use and works as described on your web site. You may quote my comments.

I have plantar fasciitis, which began over 20 years ago and has gotten progressively worse. I stand for prolonged periods of time, often 5-8 hrs a day as a fine arts painter. Spent approximately $1000 for various custom made inserts, tried several types of expensive shoes supposedly designed for plantar fasciitis, had two sessions of physical therapy at different clinics, sought treatment with a podiatrist who mainly wanted to do an expensive surgical procedure and offered no other treatment than more inserts. None really successful. After about 2hrs researching plantar fasciitis on Google, I decided to try MendMeShop. After about two weeks of scrupulous adherence the treatment plan outlined by MendMeShop there was a noticable decrease in pain and I am well pleased with the results so far. If improvement continues at the present rate I should be pain free before years end.

I had Plantar Fasciitis for 6 months and had been to a podiatrist and orthopedic surgeon. All the calf stretching, night socks, and even the expensive orthopedic inserts in my shoes had not helped at all. The customer service team at the Mend Me Shop have given me far more specifics as to how I should stretch and what is going on with my foot than either doctor did. They also did not push all their products, but just the one that they felt would help my situation the most. I just finished the first three weeks of treatment and I feel about 90% healed. There is no pain when I first get up in the morning, nor when I wear my shoes with orthodics. I could not recommend Mend Me Shop or their products more highly.

Ice vs Heat for Treating Plantar Fasciitis

So What's Better - Ice or Heat?

Use ice and heat to deal with your plantar fasciitis.

When dealing with plantar fasciitis or any other soft tissue foot injury it's hard to know what treatment will work best for you. You might be wondering if ice and heat will work for you. Or maybe even which will work better - ice OR heat.

Icing and heating have been the 2 most ancient and natural treatment options available. Compared to medications, surgery and other treatment methods - icing and heating have been around for centuries; they continue to be used for both acute and chronic soft tissue injuries as a means to soothe and heal.

Is Ice or Heat Better to Treat Plantar Fascia Pain

The answer is that it depends. If you have any swelling and/or swelling induced pain, then never use heat. Cold Compression is what you want to get the inflammation and swelling down; this will also reduce your pain level significantly. Heat is used only after the swelling is gone, and is used for limbering up your joint and soft tissue so it functions more effectively.

How Effective Is Ice?

Ice is frozen water. That sounds like a silly statement, but it's true. Water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit and becomes a solid. When you use ice straight out of your freezer, this initial freezing cold temperature will drop even lower to a chilling 10.4 degrees Fahrenheit.

using cold for pain relief

Imagine putting something THAT COLD on your injury (well below freezing). The extreme icy cold will immediately start to damage your cells as soon as you put it onto your already damaged plantar fascia tissue. This cellular damage will actually compound your injury, making it worse over time instead of better. Extremely cold temperatures like this may even burn your skin, causing something called 'cryoburn'.

Ice is a solid. This makes the surface of ice very hard and rigid. If you drop ice on the floor it will shatter and break like glass. If an icicle drops from your roof in the winter you already know that you don't want to be standing under it because it'll hurt you. Ice pulled from your freezer to treat your knee injury is no different.

Treating with ice is like putting a rock hard block onto a painfully swollen, red, inflamed, hot area. It's a totally uncomfortable feeling that numbs your tissue too fast giving you that prickling, stinging, burning sensation.

You also have to contort your body into weird angles in order to get the ice to wrap around the bottom of your foot, where your injury is. When using ice, you will almost never get the cold where you need it for long enough to do any good. And if you can stand to use it for long at all (you probably won't be able to - it'll sting, hurt and start burning you), you'll be numb beyond feeling without even knowing if the ice has done anything to help your injury.

This is where the difference between ice and cold compression is stunning...

Cold compression requires 2 elements to truly work effectively at treating your injury:

  • Long-lasting cold - NOT freezing cold temperatures, NOT gel that warms up too quickly.
  • Comfortable, even, compression on your ENTIRE plantar fascia for the full length of your treatment.

Even without delving any deeper it's obvious already where ice and cold compression are completely different... And how one is much better for you than the other.

Instead of Ice, Use Cold Compression

There really is no scenario where usage of ice can compare to cold compression. Now when it comes to cold compression, know that our ColdCure Wraps® really are the best cold compression wrap you will find.

Get effective, consistent cold compression with our Plantar Coldcure Wrap.

There are many cold wraps out there, and a lot of them will bunch up, slide off, or simply don't get tight enough. Others have gel packs that are water-based ice wraps (we now know that ice isn't good for you) or blue/white goo gel packs (made of harmful chemicals and/or anti-freeze) that warm up too quickly and squish out to the corners of the gel pack when compression is applied.

It sounds like cold compression should be a simple thing. All you need to do is:

  • Get long-lasting cold to decrease your pain.
  • Apply compression to your injury to reduce swelling, edema, and fluid build-up in your foot.

You'll find a lot of inferior "cold compression wraps" out there try to do both of these things but fail miserably in the process. Either they'll get you the cold OR compression (or neither) leaving you with a completely ineffective treatment.

For the Best Cold Compression, Use ColdCure Technology®

If you want the long answer to why ColdCure Technology® is better than ice or other cold wraps, click here.

    Here is the shorter version:
  • Each Wrap comes with 3 large gel packs. You can have 1 gel pack inside the wrap while the other 2 are in the freezer ready for use at any time.
  • Each Gel Pack has a warm spot prevention layer. High Thermal Conductivity allows the gel pack to deliver its full cooling power at any hot spots on the treatment area. Ineffective cold wraps will not deliver consistent cold in hot spots as they do not have high thermal conductivity.
  • Perfect Fit. It's designed to provide a perfect fit for all body types.
  • Medical Grade FDA registered medical device means it can be used in hospitals or home, and it does what we say it does.
  • Our gel is food-grade and non toxic enclosed in tough yet soft vinyl that wont split or leak.
  • More Cooling Power per Gel Pack A Cold Compression Plantar ColdCure Wrap® is heavy - that is because there is a LOT of cooling power in every gel pack. This is a big problem with ice packs - cheap ones don't have enough to do the job properly. Gel is heavy and a lot of gel is MUCH more expensive to make - and it is not cheap to ship either. This is why everyone makes pretty wraps with just a little bit of gel, and you know by now that's not good.

Medical Grade Means It Stands Apart

Our ColdCure Wraps® stand apart because our gel packs are made with a food-grade PVC shell, food-grade non-toxic gel, there are no dyes or chemicals and they're FDA approved medical devices.

The coolest part about the ColdCure Wrap® is the patented gel formulation that allows millions of tiny snowflakes to form inside the gel when chilled. This network of cold snowflakes in the gel gives you 3 times more cold therapy than any other traditional blue gel pack available on the market today.

Every ColdCure Wrap® comes with 3 very large packs of gel each to fit inside the soft neoprene shell. That's truly stunning when compared to most other wraps on the market that weigh in at only about 1lb or less... including the wrap!

Every ColdCure Wrap® gel pack is very heavy, typically containing 2 to 3 times as much gel than a traditional cold pack. This highly engineered gel has a high heat capacity (pound for pound it has more cooling power than traditional gel) which means that you have serious cooling power in each gel pack! I even put a couple packs in the cooler when I go camping for the weekend! It keeps things COLD, LONGER. It also won't leak - EVER.. although if it did, you shouldn't worry, as our gel is non-toxic, food-grade, FDA registered, medical grade.

Effective Cold Compression Therapy slows nerve and cell function - reducing swelling that blocks blood vessels from doing their job.

When a manufacturer gets gel made in China (where most cheap gel wraps are made) and has to ship them to the customer, imagine the savings if they put as little gel in there as they can. The lighter it is, the less it costs to ship. This is why most cold wraps don't have the amount of gel you need.

The ColdCure Wrap® = Effective Cold Compression Therapy

Ice melts, drips and pools. In most cases it is ineffective and always cumbersome. Our ColdCure Wraps® are nothing like ice - they are better in every way.

How Effective is Heat?

The idea of using heat was to try and heat up your muscles and tendons and ligaments (MTLs), where the actual injury is located. This heat is supposed to help increase the flexibility and elasticity of MTLs and also bring more bloodflow to the area. The problem is that nearly all the heat gets stopped before reaching the sub-dermal skin layer - as such it is grossly ineffective.

Your skin and the fatty tissue layer below your skin is very thick - thicker than you probably realize. For obvious reasons, your skin and especially the sub-dermal layer is a very good insulator, preventing temperature extremes from penetrating deep. Also, your circulatory system will send more blood to pool into your blood vessels in the dermal and sub dermal layers when heat is applied; this blood absorbs a vast amount of the heat which your body then pumps away from the area... this is how your body regulates temperature so effectively.

Instead of Heat, Use BFST®

Due to the strong insulating properties of your circulatory system and fatty skin tissue, our BFST® wraps are superior to heat. Each BFST® Wrap emits a uniform wave of healing electromagnetic energy (EMR energy) over the entire treatment area. This energy travels through the skin and sub-dermal layer, deep inside the soft tissue in your foot.

EMR energy is absorbed by denser tissue such as MTLs, stimulating the blood flow directly in the treatment area where the injures muscles, tendons and ligaments are- just the same as a heat application was intended to do - only BFST® does it better. This electromagnetic energy is CRUCIAL to the healing process.

Electromagnetic energy waves (EMR) are not Heat Waves. When they are emitted from the BFST Wrap® they penetrate right through your skin and fat layers until they get to denser soft tissue such as your ligaments, muscles, and tendons. EMR waves are absorbed by this dense soft tissue and this absorption of energy results in increased bloodflow .... that's Enhanced Healing Power -right at the location of the injury.

This is the only system that can provide the BFST® effect deep in the body where it is needed. The BFST Wrap® is the only flexible, therapeutic wrap that can significantly increase bloodflow at the source of your injury - period! It is patented technology you will find nowhere else.

Click HERE to Go To Our Online Store We take all major credit cards and Paypal. Click HERE to Call Our Office (toll free continental NA).

Electromagnetic Energy => Increased Blood Flow => More Oxygen, More Nutrients and Less Toxins => Faster Healing

What Makes the BFST Wrap® Different?

The BFST Wrap® is a wholesome healer!

Trying to force heat through your skin and sub-dermal tissue is not effective. However, the BFST Wrap® emits an electromagnetic energy (EMR) that penetrates deep into your tissue creating the heat right down in your injured tissue. This means that instead of trying to heat from the outside in, you're using another method to to get the energy straight inside; EMR energy passes right through the skin and is absorbed by deep dense tissue - exactly where it is needed.

Our Wrist/Sesamoiditis BFST Wrap® and ColdCure Wrap® are
Highly Effective at Treating Plantar Plate Injuries.

Plantar Plate Injury Overcompensation Pain Limp

The best source of Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy is from a product where you don't even feel that much heat. When you don't feel the heat, it means the therapy is working in your deep soft tissue which is really where you need it. It's kind of like how your heart works in your body. You can't 'feel' your heart pumping blood all around your body to your arms and legs. You can't even hear your own heartbeat without listening very closely. This is exactly how deep tissue BFST® works too! You're not supposed to 'feel' a lot of heat because the heat isn't treating your skin, it's treating your injury, increasing the blood flow right in your soft tissue.

With regular use of the BFST Wrap®:

  • Your pain will be reduced.
  • Your damaged tissue will heal at an accelerated rate while reducing your risk of re-injury.
  • You will have a larger range of motion and increased extensibility of collagen tissue. (Chapter 9 of "Therapeutic Heat and Cold", 4th edition. (amazon.com link Ed. Justus F. Lehmann, M.D., Williams, and Wilkin)

Our BFST Wraps® are made from medical-grade material - this should be as important to you as it is to us! Other products that are sold in stores are considered "consumer goods" meaning the material only needs to be as good as a sweater that you wear. Clothing articles like this don't need to meet high standards of production or materials and may include materials that irritate your skin.

Since our wraps are medical-grade products registered with the FDA, they are of a higher quality and need to meet way more standards for manufacturing (ISO 10993 - bio-compatibility testing). This makes our wraps the safest product for heating treatment. Our manufacturer has spent years perfecting the wrap design to make sure you get the treatment you deserve!

Use a BFST Wrap®:

Plantar Plate Tear Pain Pattern
  • After swelling and inflammation have been reduced with cold compression.
  • Before exercise or workouts to warm up your foot & prevent re-injury.
  • Before and after surgery during rehabilitation to warm up your tissues before physical therapy exercising or stretching.
  • Anytime you feel the area in and around your injury has stiffened up, is tight and your mobility is reduced.
  • Anytime you have sore or aching tissue.
  • Any other situation where you need to increase blood flow to your injury to relax your tendons, ligaments & muscle, prevent re-injury and enhance flexibility of your tissue.

Why Should I Use ColdCure Technology® and BFST®
For My Foot Injury?

ice heat track race knee injury
  • You're looking to heal your plantar fasciitis quickly and want to boost the natural power of pain relief and healing in your body. Perhaps you want to get rid of arch pain or heel spur pain and inflammation
  • You don't want to repeatedly pay the cost (both from your wallet and time needed for long-term healing) of injections, medications, hospital visits. Perhaps you want to try and avoid surgery - an option you want to avoid if at all possible.
  • You want to prevent your injury from worsening.
  • You want to prevent any future re-injury, pain, tear or swelling in your foot.
  • You want to control your own treatment and healing at home, on your own time.
  • You're looking for a tried, tested, and true method of healing that thousands of plantar fasciitis injury sufferers have used successfully.

When to use a ColdCure Wrap®:

Plantar Ice Pack Wrap Cold Compression
  • 24 to 72 hours after your initial injury or when you first notice pain and swelling to stop cellular damage, relieve pain, and decrease swelling.
  • After exercise, workouts or activity of any kind to prevent re-injury.
  • Before and after surgery during rehabilitation to control pre and post-surgery pain and swelling.
  • Anytime you feel your plantar ligament (or big toe for sesamoiditis) has been over-extended, over-worked, twisted, strained or sprained causing pain and swelling.
  • Anytime you have swelling, sharp throbbing pain or inflammation.
  • Any other situation where you need to draw the pain and inflammation out of your foot and surrounding tissue.

ColdCure Technology® is a highly effective way to get immediate pain relief and promote long-term healing. In your lifetime you've probably had your mom, family doctor, nurse, surgeon or physical therapist tell you to use ice right after you're injured. Now, instead of ice, you can use ColdCure Technology® - a better alternative to ice in every way.

Here are a couple scenarios where cold compression is applicable:

You had a bad case of plantar fasciitis that was forcing you to use crutches for a while. It been a a couple days since you used crutches and there is no more pain.

You feel good and decide to walk the dog a few extra blocks for a longer route. You realize afterwards that was a bad idea because your the underside of your foot is throbbing where the old injury was, and is becoming painful.

You should use COLD on the underside of your foot (where the pain is) to stop additional tearing or damage in your ligament and help ease the pain. You should also stop physical activity until the pain goes away.

You are out on a hike through the woods with some friends.

The hike went well, although when you got home, you can feel that your left ankle is throbbing. Once you take your shoes off, you notice some slight swelling around the outside of your ankle.

In this case COLD and COMPRESSION should be applied to the ankle to decrease the swelling in your ankle. You should also rest the ankle for some time and give it a chance to recover and strengthen so you don't injure it further.

It's crucial to use cold after any sort of activity causes you on-going pain.

Cold for new inflamed injuries or right after re-injury.

ColdCure Technology® Cold compression is used to treat injuries or conditions that are red, hot, inflamed, swollen and suffering from tissue damage (a tear or recovering from surgery). Cold therapy is a natural / organic pain reliever that numbs pain right at the source of your injury. While doing this the cold also slows cellular break-down for acute (recent) soft tissue injury.

Plantar ColdCure Wrap Whats In the Box

Cold compression works best to relieve pain, swelling and inflammation for new injuries, re-injury and during immediate post surgery recovery. Cold therapy should also be used during the first 24 - 72 hours of treatment, combined with resting your injury.

If you've been suffering for some time with a chronic plantar fasciitis injury you should only use cold after activity causes you more pain or triggers more inflammatory response symptoms (red, hot, inflamed, swollen). This would be when your foot starts to hurt at the end of the day after you've been actively on your fee or performing any other tasks put stress on your foot. When used at this time, cold compression becomes a natural / organic pain reliever, treating the site where you feel the pain.

Sometimes we feel pain while doing a certain activity - should you still use cold? Too much cold therapy can reduce your ability to heal correctly, because cold is a short term pain reliever not a deep tissue healer.

Click HERE to Go To Our Online Store We take all major credit cards and Paypal. Click HERE to Call Our Office (toll free continental NA).

Too much cold will keep your injury in the same state - slowing down the healing process. This can sometimes make chronic injuries linger even longer. This is why you use Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy (via the BFST Wrap®) when you suffer from a chronic, tight or stiff foot injury after the swelling is reduced. BFST® treatments enhance blood-flow, increase elasticity of dense soft tissue (muscles, tendons, ligaments) and basically gets your joint limbered up and back to normal.

  • When the swelling is gone (usually after applying cold compression to the injury over 24 to 48 hr period).
  • BEFORE getting out of bed in the morning. BEFORE going to bed at night.
  • BEFORE exercise, workouts or activity of any kind to increase elasticity of the ligaments & tendons and decrease chance of re-injury.
  • AFTER surgery (in cases where you have had surgery) to increase post-surgery healing rate and minimize scar tissue growth at the surgery location. Use only once the skin wound has healed over and swelling is gone.
  • Anytime BEFORE you feel you might undertake activity that will put significant strain on the injury area.

BFST® treatments work best to increase blood flow circulation and stimulate healing for older (chronic) injuries, re-injury (after swelling has been reduced) and during long-term post surgery recovery. BFST® should not be used directly after an injury, as you must wait for swelling to drop.

BFST Plantar Fasciitis Treatment, Heel Spur Treatment Medical Device

If you are recovering from surgery, BFST® treatments should not be started for a least 2 weeks after surgery because inflammation levels will be very high as the healing process starts over again. Physicians often recommend BFST® treatments about the time when you are out of a firm brace, when light stretching begins so you can increase your range of motion (ROM). In all cases of injury, consult with your physician before undergoing any treatment plan.

If you have a chronic plantar fasciitis injury or other soft tissue injury that keeps getting re-injured you should use a BFST Wrap® before activity to loosen up your tissue (making it more flexible). This treatment is shown to increase the elasticity (flexibility) of the soft tissue in and around the treatment area, making it more pliable for activity and less likely to re-injure.

Sometimes we feel pain while doing a certain activity - should you still use BFST®? Using a BFST Wrap® in the morning before you start your day or before activity can help to boost blood-flow and reduce risk of further strain or injury. Cold compression with a ColdCure Wrap® should be used part-way through your day after you have been active so you can decrease pain and inflammation from the flare up.

Using BFST® is a good long-term plan because it will help stimulate healing and can also be used on a preventive basis to relax constricted soft tissue. BFST® enhances the local blood circulatory system, increasing the flow of nutrients your tissue needs to heal - nutrients, oxygen, and anti-bodies - this is energy.

When You Use The ColdCure Wrap® and The BFST Wrap®, You Are Getting:

  • Products that are approved by the FDA for use in the hospital or at home.
  • A Cold compression Medical Device that relieves pain, inflammation and swelling fast with consistent cold temperatures that WON'T reach temperatures so low that it causes cryoburn (like ice or blue gel packs full of anti-freeze and chemicals).
  • Food-grade, non-toxic gel packs that can be chilled in the fridge or freezer.
  • A BFST Wrap® with deeply penetrating Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy right into your damaged soft tissue where you need treatment most (unlike other methods that just heat your skin - like hot water bottles, hot baths, etc.)

  • Medical-grade, soft, plush, neoprene wraps that meet ISO 10993 biocompatibility testing - providing the safest product for cold compression and Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy treatment.
  • A Treatment Formula used by physical therapists and doctors - with an BFST Wrap® used to increase blood flow circulation before activity and a ColdCure Wrap® used to relieve pain / swelling after activity.

Usage Scenarios for Cold Compression and BFST®:

You previously suffered from Sesamoiditis but the pain has been gone for 3 weeks now.

You are planning on going out shopping and expect to be on your feet for a considerable length of time.

In this case heat ( Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy) should be used before the shopping trip, as this treatment will increase elasticity and flexibility of the sesamoid tendons (and surrounding soft tissue). This pre-emptive treatment will decrease the chance of re-injuring your sesamoid tendons.

You had a bad ankle sprain 2 years ago but that injury has healed and you have no longer felt any pain from that injury for over a year.

You just went to a new fitness / aerobics class and notice your ankle feels stiff the day after your first class. There's no pain, inflammation or swelling, just some stiffness / soreness where your old injury was.

In this case, you should use BFST® on your ankle before your next work out to loosen up your ankle and increase the elasticity and flexibility of your ankle tendons and ligament. BFST® can be used multiple times per day if you notice residual stiffness. If stiffness remains, continue to use BFST® to make sure your old injury doesn't come back.

I purchased this product recently for my plantar fasciitis. I've been using it about a week, and it has helped a lot with the pain when I first get out of my bed in the morning. I previously tried something else, that was more like a sock, that pulled the toes, and that only caused pain. This [night splint] is very comfortable to wear, and I love how much I'm able to adjust it! I would recommend this to anyone!

I am a 57 year old flat footed female, who has suffered off and on for at least 25 years with a painful plantar/heel. Love the Freezie and the Inferno wraps... Impressed with the quality materials, and the well thought out construction. I've been using Dr. Scholl's cushions in my shoes, but they only help a little bit. Many thanks.

When I use the knee Inferno wrap consistently it makes a difference. I need a knee replacement but because of my weight issues I can't get the surgery. The wrap gives me much relief. I also tore my rotator cuff and had major reconstructive surgery and 1 year of rehab. Over the years I have stiffness and the shoulder wrap has helped to maintain range of motion. In addition, I have the tortoise shell for the back and I can't say enough. It hits the whole back up to the neck. Wonderful. My sister has planter fasciitis she used the foot wrap consistently for several months, now she only needs to use periodically. I love and use all the products I have purchased and would recommend.

Thank you!

Today I am totally pain free, and completely healed. I no longer have to use any of the products, however they are in the bathroom closet for future use as my doctor said I am prone to it coming back. The Inferno wrap also helped with my heel spurs. I have shared all your product information with my doctor, he was impressed with my results and wants to share with other patients. Using the Night Splint at night is paramount to complete recovery. Kind Regards, Lorrie
