Noticeable Decrease in Plantar Fasciitis Pain with Inferno, Freezie and Ultrasound

I have plantar fasciitis, which began over 20 years ago and has gotten progressively worse. I stand for prolonged periods of time, often 5-8 hrs a day as a fine arts painter.

I have spent approximately $1000 for various custom made inserts, tried several types of expensive shoes supposedly designed for plantar fasciitis, had two sessions of physical therapy at different clinics, sought treatment with a podiatrist who mainly wanted to do an expensive surgical procedure and offered no other treatment than more inserts. None really successful.

After about 2hrs researching plantar fasciitis on Google, I decided to try MendMeShop. After about two weeks of adherence to the treatment plan outlined by MendMeShop there was a noticable decrease in pain and I am well pleased with the results so far. If improvement continues at the present rate I should be pain free before years end.

More Plantar Facts:

The plantar fascia supports the arch of the foot in carrying the weight of the body.

Approximately 90% of women and 40% of men with plantar fasciitis are overweight.

It frequently affects athletes, people who are on their feet all day and those over 40 years of age.

Among professional athletes, plantar fasciitis is one of the 5 most common foot and ankle injuries.

If left untreated the condition could become chronic and can lead to a host of other issues.

Most sufferers are able to overcome the pain with non-invasive therapy.

Night splints prevent contraction and stretch your plantar fascia while you sleep to help with pain.

Treatment includes avoiding the activity, icing the inflammation, gently stretching and warming the area.

What I can report is that the treatments make a difference. I have a bone spur. My routine is to start at 6:00 am because in the morning is when it hurts the most. I have discovered a way to wrap my foot with both the planter ligament wrap and the Achilles tendon wrap at the same time. I do the cold for 20 minutes, let it rest for 20 minutes, then do the hot for 20 minutes. While the pain does not go away, it does go from excruciating to tolerable. Each day I'm able to do a little more in the way of household chores I am even starting to go swimming again. I look out at the garden and dream of the day I can get back to work there. I told my podiatrist about your product and he said that is exactly what he wants me to do, cold then hot, plenty of water. He asked for information about your products, so I am taking it with me at my next visit. So, yes, all in all, I am happy with your product. But mostly I am pleased with your company. Like this letter for example, I am sure that you have hundreds of customers, but you make me feel like I'm the only one, or the most important. I feel like you care that I am experiencing pain and you want your product to help me. I wish you much success with your business. Yours Truly, Peggy *Update* Peggy emailed us 3 weeks after her first comments with a promising update: My bone spur has improved to the point that I use the treatments only once a day in the morning, with an occasional treatment in the evening after dinner. And there are days when there is no pain at all throughout the day!!

Dear Sir, I am writing to let everyone know how wonderfully the Inferno Wrap works! I'd been suffering with plantar fascitis for a month, I tried a splint, shoe inserts, rest, ice, stretching. It was improving, oh so slowly. However, once I got my Inferno Wrap, everything changed and within two days I was walking on my foot! I still get pain after being on my feet all night at work, and reapply the Wrap when I go home and am good to go again. It's a miracle! The fact that you have a money back guarantee makes it so safe to purchase. Thank you again, Loretta

I received the freezer wrap on Friday and used it Saturday evening after walking on my treadmill. The combination of exercise and the wrap after the session worked wonders. I woke up this morning and did not have the pain in my left heel that I have been experiencing for about 6 months. I also use the Inferno wrap - it works well. I use the Inferno in the evening - it is very comforting. I believe the combination of regular exercise, the heat and the cold may cure the plantar fasciitis. I had this condition several years ago that resolved in about 6 weeks. However, this time it has lasted months, perhaps because I was not exercising regularly. This is the first morning I have not had any pain. As a Nurse Practitioner, I wholeheartedly endorse the heat and freezer wraps for plantar fasciitis and possible for other types of foot pain. Thanks so much for these wonderful products.

When we spoke on the phone regarding my husband's improved foot condition a few days ago I mentioned that he thought the size of his heel spur was actually reducing as a result of using the wrap. I didn't want to write to you about that in my last email until I had a chance to actually look at the heel spur myself. Well, I looked at it this morning and my jaw dropped! It has shrunk I would say at least 80%. When it was at its largest size I estimate that it protruded about .75 of an inch. Until he started using the wrap, it was a huge, hard and ugly protrusion that made it difficult to wear shoes. When I looked at his heel this morning it barely was protruding at all, less than .25 of an inch at its highest point. Keep in mind that bone spurs are a hard mass that don't come and go. They are permanent, and the hard mass was something he had been living with for years, but now it has reduced to almost nothing. We are absolutely astounded and my husband is so excited. The $146.00 was well worth it, especially compared to the shoe inserts which cost over $400 and did nothing to reduce the size of the bone spur. And his foot feels great! I told him he should call the two podiatrists he has seen and tell them but I doubt that he will.

I began using the Freezie Wrap (8C) and the Dorsal Night Splint (7Cp) immediately when the package arrived. I followed the instructions. The only medicine I took was 2 or 3 200 mg ibuprophen per day. (I seldom take pain killers.) The plantar faciitis was in my left foot. When the treatment began, I could not walk without great pain and even when I sat still the pain continued. Within a few days the great pain was gone, and within a month I felt pain only after a lot of walking or ballroom dancing. Before receiving your devices, I began using plantar faciitis inserts in my shoes, but that alone did not cure the problem. Now, I use the devices only when I feel slight pain after a couple of hours of walking or dancing. You provide a quality product that is easy to use and works as described on your web site. You may quote my comments.

I'm regularly using both Leg and Plantar Inferno Wraps now and I'm already seeing extreme/good results. Basically I'm doing lots of running now and enjoy competing 5k's & 10k's. Hopefully full marathon soon and to achieve better results I need to train hard; consequences [of this] are typical running injuries. Obviously I'm treating my Plantar Fascia [with the Plantar Inferno Wrap], and using the Leg Inferno Wrap I'm treating my calf and hamstring. Both Inferno Wraps I should say are user friendly / easy to use except you need to be near electrical outlet to operate this gadget. I should say this equipment is a big help to the runners world.

Dear Mendmeshop, My husband and I are thrilled with the results he's getting from using the Plantar Inferno wrap. He has suffered from an unusually large bone spur in his foot for the last 13 years, which understandably has severely limited his ability to walk comfortably. He was told by several podiatrists that shoe inserts or surgery were his only option. The shoe fittings helped minimally at best and he was pondering foot surgery until he recently tried your foot wrap. Even after the first treatment he noticed his foot felt better. He has been using it daily now for over a week and he can't believe how wonderful his foot feels. Thank you for making a product that is really helping him.

I purchased the Inferno wrap and Freezie wrap to treat a chronic Achilles tendonosis (MICROSCOPIC TEARS OF THE TENDON AT THE INSERTION). During the later part of 2008 I was experiencing a lot of tight muscle and tendons and usually working out (running) tired and not properly warmed up and limber. I started the new year with good intention and determined to work on stretching that included following a home yoga program. I am familiar with yoga but admit that I was too aggressive with the stretching that comes from the 'downward dog' position. I believe this aggravated an already existing condition in the Achilles insertion area, this combined with the stress of a late January 5KM road race caused enough pain in the Achilles tendon to force me to discontinue running. I sought medical attention from my family physician who referred me to physiotherapy. Through the early stage of therapy I continued to do regular bike workouts. Unfortunately the pain increased to the point that I had to stop both running and cycling. I attended physiotherapy for just over two months going once a week receiving massage to the injured area, ultrasound, cortisone by patch and ice. I was religious in following the gentle stretching and strengthening routine at home between physio visits. After these two months with little improvement they released me with the instruction to continue with the stretching, strength exercises and ice. I was still in pain and could not run or cycle without causing further damage, walking was painful. I search for other solutions and found the information on the MendMeShop web site. Although skeptical, I purchased the wraps out of desperation, received the product, read all the literature for use and started into a daily routine. Within 7 days I started to experience a reduction in the constant pain. Within 9 days I was walking without a constant reminder of the injury. I tried doing a ride and although the short 13 mile ride was enjoyable I started to feel the injury flair up again. The injury is not completely healed but the progress I am experiencing gives me hope that with a continued discipline of home treatment using the products, gentle stretching and the use of wearing a brace on my foot while sleeping to prevent the tendon from retracting, will in time bring about the full healthy healing of the injured area. I have found that you really have to be in tune with what you are feeling during the gentle stretching and often back off the stretch so as not to cause repetitive injury to the already weakened area of the Achilles insertion.

I started playing tennis again at least 3x a week a couple weeks ago. I'm use the inferno wrap mornings and nights and if I have time - the middle of the day. My foot is continuing to feel better and better. The morning after tennis I have a little soreness but very slight. It is the best my foot as felt in the last year. After trying everything to get rid of my fasciitis, (exercises, ice, stretching every day and wearing a splint) for months, I finally feel my foot will be completely healed. I stopped wearing the night splint a couple weeks ago. I still stretch my foot at least once in the morning but have stopped all the other exercises. I ice after tennis also. I am very happy with the results I've had since using the Inferno Wrap. I began using it April 27th and noticed results after using it the first week. My foot has continued to heal more and more. And being able to play tennis 3-4x a week with no pain after is wonderful. The wrap was worth it for the good results I'm having.

I have been using the inferno wrap for about 3 weeks now and the results are outstanding. I could feel relief after the first use of the inferno wrap. About 2 years ago the doctor told me I had plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. The heel of my feet hurt so badly, I could hardly walk. Getting out of bed in the mornings was pain beyond belief. I would hold on to the bed railings to take a step. After going to the doctors and getting cortizone injections, ordering custom made insoles, exercises, taping my arch, and therapy, my feet were still hurting. I stopped the doctor visits for lack of relief. I was paying out so much money with no results. Not knowing what else to do, I prayed and asked God to show me what I could do to get releif. I came across the mend me website and read the entire article on foot problems and the products. What it said made so much sense to me. I felt it would be the right thing for me. I love the way it talks about the body and explain how it should work. What really drew me the most and encouraged me to order was: the site said your body was designed to heal itself. I am a firm believer in organic healing and avoiding medication and surgery whenever possible. When I read about the blood flow I was sold on the product. I know that blood is the life of the body. When I wear the inferno wrap I don't want to take it off. It gives relief and warmth right where it hurts. I will be ordering other products for the feet as well. Thanks for the information you give on each part of the body. I have referred your website to several people for different ailments.

I came across the MendMeShop while searching online for remedies for Plantar Faciitis. The Inferno Wrap that I purchased has been well worth the price. First it fits very well and is easy to put on and take off and it puts out the right amount of heat with its adjustable temperatures. Also I found this firm very easy to work with as I did have some product questions and they were very responsive. I would recommend them to anyone.

When I use the knee Inferno wrap consistently it makes a difference. I need a knee replacement but because of my weight issues I can't get the surgery. The wrap gives me much relief. I also tore my rotator cuff and had major reconstructive surgery and 1 year of rehab. Over the years I have stiffness and the shoulder wrap has helped to maintain range of motion. In addition, I have the tortoise shell for the back and I can't say enough. It hits the whole back up to the neck. Wonderful. My sister has planter fasciitis she used the foot wrap consistently for several months, now she only needs to use periodically. I love and use all the products I have purchased and would recommend.

What is ColdCure Technology®?

ColdCure Technology® gives you fast acting, long lasting, effective cold compression therapy without the risk of cold burns, or cryoburn. The Plantar Freezie Wrap® provides incredible cooling power that's not painful or damaging to the skin. This same incredible cooling power has more cooling units per pound of gel than any other compression wrap.

ColdCure Technology for long lasting cold that won't cause cryoburn.

How much better can our Plantar Freezie Wrap® gel packs be? You'll be amazed how something so simple can be made so much better.

Our manufacturer has put in years of time and experimentation with countless gel formulations to make this product what it is today. Even now, new formulations are experimented with and tested - just to make sure we have the best cold compression wrap you will find anywhere.

We can confidently say that ColdCure Technology® provides a cutting edge gel formula that offers:

  • Non-migrating gel that will stay under your foot for the entire length of your treatment.
  • A unique cooling network in the gel that cools the gel down fast without freezing it solid (like ice).
  • Food-grade, FDA registered, medical grade gel packs that withstand the pressures applied during compression treatment, don't cool down below freezing like other wraps that cause cryoburn to your skin; yet hold the cold longer than inferior gels that warm up much too quickly.
  • High Heat Capacity Gel: pound for pound, ColdCure Gel has 3 times the cooling power compared to common water-based ice packs.
  • A cushioned gel pack that still allows for maximum compression of your plantar fascia injury - designed with comfort, quality, and incredible cooling power in mind.
How to Order

Many of the groundbreaking advancements of the Plantar Freezie Wrap® are patented while some other advancements are still going through the patent process. What you can be assured of is, however, that our Freezie Wrap® Cold Compression Wraps with ColdCure Technology® are far superior to any other cold compression wrap.

ColdCure Technology® = Effective Cold Compression
= Reduced Tissue Damage = Faster Healing

Why is Cold Compression Therapy Needed for Your Plantar Fasciitis & Sesamoiditis?

Your body starts healing your plantar fascia as soon as it gets injured, over-strained or torn. When this happens, your body knows that it has been hurt and will start triggering natural healing processes on a cellular level. The immediate response of your body to your plantar fascia injury is to reduce tissue damage and start healing of your injury.

How a Freezie Wrap works

Inflammation is your body's natural response to an acute injury to your plantar fascia. It is a normal part of the healing process. Swelling, pain, heat sensation (hot to the touch), redness, and loss of function are the main symptoms most people will feel during this inflammation stage.

During the inflammation stage effective cold compression therapy is critical to help minimize damage to your plantar fascia. Applying proper and effective cold compression early (and often) has been shown to enhance recovery from many soft tissue injuries, including sprains, strains, pulls, cramps and tears to the plantar fascia.

The benefits of treating yourself with effective cold compression include:

Is There Such Thing as Too Much Inflammation?

Uncontrolled inflammation can actually hurt the surrounding healthy tissue in your foot and slow down the healing process. If left totally untreated, the inflammation and swelling will build under blood vessels are completely blocked off.

How a Freezie Wrap works

Inflammation blocks off blood flow that is needed to naturally heal your injury. Eventually, due to lack of vital bloodflow, the healthy tissue surrounding injured tissue will starved from lack of oxygen and nutrients it needs to stay healthy. This is a big problem for those that are dealing with chronic (long-term) inflammation - healthy tissue begins to die and the whole injury area worsens. Much of the dead tissue will be replaced with scar tissue, which can and will become problematic when trying to heal completely and prevent re-injury.

Inflammation is an important part of the healing process, but it needs to be controlled. If treated properly, the inflammation can bring more blood flow and fluids into your damaged plantar fascia, bringing more nutrients, oxygen and antibodies as well (instead of eventually cutting off the blood supply).

The only way to control inflammation while allowing the natural healing process to happen is through treatment with effective cold compression tools - consistent treatment with the Plantar Freezie Wrap®. Effective cold compression is meant to lower the temperature of your injured tissue, this reduces tissue damage and makes healing of tissue more efficient.

The Plantar Freezie Wrap® provides effective cold compression, giving you long-lasting relief from pain and inflammation. There is a reason why we have thousands of everyday people and medical professionals treating their injuries with the Plantar Freezie Wrap®... The Freezie Wrap® is based on sound science and manufactured to medical standards.

The great advantage of BFST® treatments is that you are increasing your healing rate via enhanced bloodflow without the physical activity that can and does often lead to re-injury. BFST Wraps® allow to heal quickly while reducing your chance of re-injury.

Is the Freezie Wrap® the Best Cold Compression Wrap in the World?

As far as we know (to the best of our knowledge), it is. We've spent years on this wrap to give you the highest level of safe, effective, quality cold compression treatment specifically designed to treat pain and swelling for plantar injuries. Our work with the manufacturer is on-going. The one thing we can promise you is that we'll continue to improve upon our wrap designs to deliver our version of the best cold compression wrap in the world directly to you.

Freezie Wrap Coldcure Wrap for Plantar Inflammation

Our Plantar Freezie Wraps® are made of the highest quality materials available. They fit perfectly, they're extremely durable, and they contain unique non-migrating gel that stays in place even when pressure is applied.

Freezie Wrap® gels don't separate. They're designed with having one thing in mind, to apply compression without sacrificing the gel migrating to another area. It's very durable, you can stand on it and it won't even move out of place. This is an important factor when you're talking about compression wraps. To receive the best treatment possible you want to apply ice without sacrificing compression to your injury, and that's exactly what the Plantar Freezie Wrap® will do.

Unlike almost any other cold wrap, the gel won't squish away from your foot regardless of the pressure you put on it; this provides the cooling power exactly where you need it.

Many wrap designers have tried numerous times to prevent the pooling effect. The "pooling effect" is when the gel drains away from the injured area and collects at the bottom corner of the gel pack, no longer providing effective treatment. This is why we designed the Freezie Wrap®, because compared to traditional wrap designs our gel holds it's form and stays in place where you need it. Our non-migrating gel works so well that we trademarked the term "RigiGel®" to describe it!

What's RigiGel®?

RigiGel® is our trademarked name for a unique gel formula that's made of food-grade, non-toxic material that holds the cold for an extended period of time. This specially formulated gel also features non-migrating gel technology that makes our line of Freezie Wraps® truly different from any other wrap available on the market.

ColdCure Superior Technology Ice Pack

RigiGel® is a patented formula that gives you:

  • More cooling power per pound than standard cold compression wraps.
  • More gel than other wraps, meaning every time you put one on it will keep your foot cold for a longer period; pain relief is enhanced and swelling is better controlled.

Traditional wraps lack the high level of cooling units that doctors and physical therapists recommend for effective treatment. Only the Freezie Wrap® has the highest level of cold compression and a non-migrating gel formula to give you the medically effective treatment you need.

There simply is nothing else like it.

ColdCure Wraps® = FDA Registered, Medical-Grade, Extremely Effective, Cold Compression Wraps

Our Freezie Wraps® are medical-grade products registered with the FDA for use at home. This means that our Freezie Wraps® are made of medical-grade material - this should be as important to you as it is to us! Other products that are sold in stores are considered "consumer goods" meaning the material only needs to be as good as a sweater that you'd wear. Clothing articles like this don't need to meet high standards of production and may includes materials that irritate your skin.

Our wraps are of a higher quality and need to meet way more standards for manufacturing (ISO 10993 - bio-compatibility testing). This makes our wraps the safest product for cold compression treatment!

When to use a Plantar ColdCure Wrap®:

  • 24 to 72 hours after your initial injury or when you first notice pain and swelling to stop cellular damage, relieve pain, and decrease swelling.
  • After exercise, workouts or activity of any kind to prevent re-injury.
  • Before and after surgery during rehabilitation to control pre and post-surgery pain and swelling.
  • Anytime you feel your plantar or heel-spur has been over-extended, over-worked, twisted, strained or sprained causing pain and swelling.
  • Anytime you have swelling, sharp throbbing pain or inflammation.
  • Any other situation where you need to draw the pain and inflammation out of the bottom of your foot (from heel to ball of feet).

When to use a Plantar BFST Wrap®:

  • When the swelling is gone (usually after applying cold compression to the injury over 24 to 48 hr period).
  • BEFORE getting out of bed in the morning. BEFORE going to bed at night.
  • BEFORE exercise, workouts or activity of any kind to increase elasticity of the ligament and decrease chance of re-injury.
  • AFTER surgery (once the skin wound has healed over) to increase post-surgery healing rate and minimize soft tissue growth at the surgery location.
  • Anytime BEFORE you feel you might undertake activity that will put significant strain on the injury area.

The Plantar Freezie Wrap® = Your Only Option for Optimum Cooling Power

Our Freezie Wraps® stand apart because our gel packs are made with a food-grade PVC shell, food-grade non-toxic gel, there are no dyes or chemicals and they're FDA approved medical devices.

Use a Plantar Freezie Wrap for long-lasting cold that won't migrate away from your foot injury when under pressure.

Traditional blue gel packs contain dyes and anti-freeze (a very harsh toxic chemical). With so many chemicals it's impossible for these packs to freeze at all - they only cool down a little. Without the ability to freeze, how can these wraps provide you with the cold you need to reduce pain and swelling from your foot injury?

The coolest part about the Plantar Freezie Wrap® is the patented RigiGel® formulation that allows millions of tiny snowflakes to form inside the gel when chilled. This network of cold snowflakes in the gel gives you 3 times more cold therapy than any other traditional blue gel packs available on the market today.

Every Plantar Freezie Wrap® comes with 3 very large packs of gel that weigh about 1.5 lbs each to fit inside the soft neoprene shell. That's truly stunning when compared to most other wraps on the market that weigh in at only about 1lb or less... including the wrap!

Effective Cold Compression Therapy slows nerve and cell function - reducing swelling that blocks blood vessels from doing their job.

Ice vs Cold Compression:
What's the Difference?

There seems to be some confusion for the difference between icing your plantar fasciitis injury vs using cold compression to treat your pain and swelling. Some people think ice and cold compression are the same thing. Others are aware of the difference. Some doctors will even go so far as to tell you that you shouldn't ice your injury at all. Up until now you may have been wondering why some doctors say that...

So what's the difference between ice and cold compression?

Ice is frozen water. That sounds like a silly statement, but it's true. Water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit and becomes a solid. When you use ice straight out of your freezer, this initial freezing cold temperature will drop even lower to a chilling 10.4 degrees Fahrenheit.

using cold for pain relief

Imagine putting something THAT COLD on your injury (well below freezing). The extreme icy cold will immediately start to damage your cells as soon as you put it onto your already damaged plantar fascia tissue. This cellular damage will actually compound your injury, making it worse over time instead of better. Extremely cold temperatures like this may even burn your skin, causing something called 'cryoburn'.

Ice is a solid. This makes the surface of ice very hard and rigid. If you drop ice on the floor it will shatter and break like glass. If an icicle drops from your roof in the winter you already know that you don't want to be standing under it because it'll hurt you. Ice pulled from your freezer to treat your knee injury is no different.

Ice is freezing cold when it hits your skin, this is too cold for effective cold compression therapy.

Treating with ice is like putting a rock hard block onto a painfully swollen, red, inflamed, hot area. It's a totally uncomfortable feeling that numbs your tissue too fast giving you that prickling, stinging, burning sensation.

You also have to contort your body into weird angles in order to get the ice to wrap around the bottom of your foot, where your injury is. You usually don't even end up getting the cold where you need it for long enough to do any good for your injury. And if you can stand to use it for long at all (you probably won't be able to - it'll sting, hurt and start burning you), you'll be numb beyond feeling without even knowing if the ice has done anything to help your injury.

Compression reduces swelling and fluid build up in your plantar.

This is where the difference between ice and cold compression is stunning...

Cold compression requires 2 elements to truly work effectively at treating your injury:

  • Long-lasting cold - NOT freezing cold temperatures, NOT gel that warms up too quickly.
  • Comfortable, even, compression on your ENTIRE plantar fascia for the full length of your treatment.

Even without delving any deeper it's obvious already where ice and cold compression are completely different... And how one is much better for you than the other.

The problem is that it's hard to find cold compression that's truly effective at giving you the powerful cold compression treatment

Get effective, consistent cold compression with our Plantar Freezie Wrap.

There are so many wraps out there that try. A lot of them will bunch up, slide off, or simply don't get tight enough. Others have gel packs that are water-based ice wraps (we now know that ice isn't good for you) or blue/white goo gel packs (made of harmful chemicals and/or anti-freeze) that warm up too quickly and squish out to the corners of the gel pack when compression is applied.

It sounds like cold compression should be a simple thing. All you need to do is:

  • Get long-lasting cold to decrease your pain.
  • Apply compression to your injury to reduce swelling, edema, and fluid build-up in your foot.

You'll find a lot of inferior "cold compression wraps" out there try to do both of these things but fail miserably in the process. Either they'll get you the cold OR compression (or neither) leaving you with a completely ineffective treatment.

The Plantar Freezie Wrap® stands apart in this regard...

The Plantar Freezie Wrap® = Effective Cold Compression, Guaranteed!

Our Plantar Freezie Wrap® gives you long lasting cold with comfortable, even, compression for the duration of your treatment.

The Advantages of Using Our Effective
ColdCure Technology® Cold Compression
Wraps
to Relieve Your Plantar Fasciitis Pain

ColdCure Technology® Advantage #1:
Non-Migrating Gel

ColdCure Superior Technology Ice Pack

Our Plantar Freezie Wrap® uses a special non-migrating gel that's soft to the touch but doesn't flow under pressure. It's not a solid and it's not a liquid either. It's something in between. This means that the gel stays in place under your foot when pressure is applied and doesn't pool around your injury. This is very important. You want the pressure on your plantar fascia to get full compression for your injury. You also want the cold there too. And, you want it to be soft and comfortable because that area is hurting!

With our specially formulated non-migrating soft gel, you get it all. Try it for yourself - you can even stand on it and see that it doesn't squish away.

ColdCure Technology® Advantage #2:
Massive Amounts of Non-Migrating Gel

How to Order

If we were going to sell a proper cold compression wrap, we wanted to make sure we had enough gel in the wrap to do the job properly. This is a big problem! Nearly all cold wraps you will find on the market fall short in this area... and there are a LOT of poor cold wraps out there! Gel is heavy and a lot of gel is MUCH more expensive to make - and it is not cheap to ship either. This is why everyone makes pretty wraps with just a little bit of gel, and you know by now that's not good.

ColdCure Technology® Advantage #3:
2 Spare Gel Packs With Every Freezie Wrap®

and yes... each spare pack has the same Massive Amount of Non-Migrating Gel

Our Plantar Freezie Wraps® come with 3 very large packs of gel. There is 1 very large gel pack already in the wrap and 2 more that you can swap in and out quickly to keep your therapy going. Each gel pack in this exclusive wrap weighs about the same as 3 cold foot packs that you would find elsewhere. This difference in weight really speaks for itself! In some cases we offer up to 6 times the amount of gel compared to competitive foot wraps. That adds up to a massive advantage in the treatment that you receive.

ColdCure Technology® Advantage #4:
More Cooling Power per Pound of Gel

The massive amount of gel in each of our Plantar ColdCure Wraps® has more units of cold per pound of gel than any other gel you'll find out there! This gives our gel the highest capacity for effective cold compression. Our wraps' special method of cooling (into millions of tiny snowflakes) is where the powerful cold comes from, and this cold stays in the wrap for the duration of your treatment. Whereas most other wraps try to cool down your injury, our Plantar ColdCure Wrap® will draw the heat out of your plantar fasciitis injury - this is the key to our ColdCure Wraps®' incredible cooling power.

The difference between putting a regular ice pack on your injury versus the Plantar ColdCure Wrap® is stunning! You get incredible cooling power for a long period of time that's not damaging and not painful on your skin.

The results speak for themselves; you get better pain relief and better control of inflammation, and that adds up to you getting better... faster. Once you put our Plantar ColdCure Wrap® on, you won't want to take it off - and you don't have to. That's the advantage of our ColdCure Technology®.

ColdCure Technology® Advantage #5:
All Our Wraps Utilize "Hot Spot Prevention"

Coldcure Plantar HotSpot Prevention Layer

Each Gel Pack has a warm spot prevention layer. High Thermal Conductivity allows the gel pack to deliver its full cooling power at any hot spots on the treatment area. Ineffective cold wraps will not deliver consistent cold in hot spots as they do not have high thermal conductivity.

The combination of high-thermal conductivity and high-heat capacity will surprise you once you try on a ColdCure Wrap®. Although you may have a warm spot over your injury site, know that the massive cooling power of the whole wrap will be utilized to ensure there is even cooling across the entire area where the ColdCure Wrap® is applied.

2 Years of Plantar Fasciitis - Almost Gone

I wanted to write and extend my thanks for having such a great product!

I have been suffering from Plantar Fasciitis for over two years. My Podiatrist had given me all the Steroid shots he was willing to do and said that surgery was the only option left.

After just 7 days of treatment with your products, the swelling is almost all gone. The intense pain has subsided substantially. I can already go most of a whole day without even thinking about (or feeling) the intense pain.

I'm keeping up the therapy and have a lot of confidence that in a month or two, I can resume my life as usual again!

Thanks again!!

Dave S., Texas USA

The ColdCure Wrap®: A Crucial Tool for Avoiding Surgery

It's generally understood by doctors and surgeons that surgery will introduce more scar tissue. This added scar tissue will be problematic, requiring physical therapy and conservative treatment options post-surgery. If not dealt with properly, your foot could end up in worse condition than before the surgery! This is why surgery is only performed as a last resort.

Most doctors, surgeons and orthopedic specialists will recommend conservative therapy for soft tissue injuries before even considering surgery.

Some of the most effective conservative treatment methods you will find are:

  • Rest - This is important for initial healing because without rest, you are at risk for increased inflammation, pain and re-injury to your foot. This can make your foot injury even worse, turn an acute injury into a chronic case, or even damage other soft tissue in your foot (or other areas due to overcompensation).
  • Avoid Activities that Caused Your Injury - While resting your foot it's also important to avoid all activities that may have caused your injury in the first place (especially if you are active in any sports or activities that require pivoting or twisting of the ankle or high stresses on the plantar). Continuing on with regular activities will not only make your injury worse, but limping to 'work around' your injury can also wind up giving you over-compensation pain in other areas of your body (like your opposite/healthy foot or even your hips or knees).
  • Apply Effective Cold Compression
Effective Cold Compression = Treatment with a ColdCure Wrap®
Immediate cold compression using a ColdCure Wrap® will help you to manage pain while getting rid of swelling, inflammation and edema in the foot. Immediate pain relief and reduced inflammation can also relieve some of the pressure that's being placed on the soft tissue in your foot and stop your injury from getting worse.
  • Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy (BFST®) - You can use your own blood flow to maximize healing of damaged tissue, maintain healthy blood flow to your foot, decrease recovery time, and boost overall long-term healing.
  • Stretch your Foot - Gentle stretching will maintain flexibility of your tissue and help to break up scar tissue that forms during healing. Consistent yet gentle stretching of your foot during conservative treatment will help maintain or increase your range of motion and speed up your overall recovery.

The ColdCure Wrap®: A Crucial Tool for Post Surgery Recovery

Cold compression is recommended by doctors following surgery to treat your pain in a natural, non-addictive way and to reduce swelling. You will not find a more effective cold compression wrap than the ColdCure Wrap®, period. Ice and sub-par wraps warm up too quickly or numb your skin beyond feeling - causing even more damage in your already-damaged joint! Effective Cold Compression can only be achieved with regular use of our ColdCure Wraps®.

After the incision site has healed, use our BFST Wraps® to achieve a fast healing rate via Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy. Using the BFST Wrap® as soon as pain & swelling has reduced following your surgery will minimize scar tissue growth in your foot that will form as you heal. Treating scar tissue is the most important step following surgery, especially in a joint as scar tissue growth will impact range of motion in the joint.

Leaving post-surgery scar tissue untreated can lead to stiffness, chronic pain, osteoarthritis or other chronic conditions. You're more likely to end up with another foot injury if you choose not to treat the scar tissue that develops in your foot. BFST® encourages more oxygen and nutrients to flow to the area to speed healing and improve the strength of the soft tissue in your joint.

Naturally Reduce Tissue Damage with
ColdCure Technology®

Not only is ColdCure Technology® the best way to treat pain, swelling and inflammation, ColdCure Technology® also reduces tissue damage when used immediately following an acute plantar fasciitis injury, re-injury, after surgery, or after irritation from overuse occurs. Once the surface wound has healed, the Plantar ColdCure Wrap® is a highly effective tool to reduce post-surgical pain due to inflammation and swelling.

How a Coldcure Wrap works

When you experience a plantar injury, the surrounding soft tissue can become swollen and painful. This means tissue has been damaged and is inflamed. The swelling and inflammation starts to block blood vessels, eventually cutting off the oxygen supply to your cells. Once this happens, tissue cells begin to die.

When you put the ColdCure Wrap® compression wrap around your injured foot, you reduce swelling and slow the cells biological need for more oxygen. You stop tissue damage in its tracks! And less damage means less pain and less healing required.

The Plantar ColdCure Wrap® is everything you need to relieve pain and swelling from acute and even chronic soft tissue plantar injuries - this includes suppression of pain and swelling post surgery!

If you're suffering with pain from a tear in your plantar fascia; you need the ColdCure Wrap® to quickly get your injury under control.

Here's how it works. When your injury first occurs, using a cold compression ColdCure Wrap® will first calm the swelling in the area. Then you can begin Inferno Wrap® treatments to promote the Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy necessary for your damaged tissue to heal. Continued use of the ColdCure Wrap® will help prevent the inflammation from returning, minimize the chance of re-injury and provide light support for your plantar fascia.

ColdCure Wrap® + BFST Wrap®® - The Best Home Treatment Combination for a Fast Recovery!

When treating our plantar fasciitis and foot pain with hot and cold treatments it's important to get the temperature right. Some gels can freeze and cause ice burn if left on the skin for too long. Other gels simply don't give you the cold temperature you need to help with pain and swelling.

Plantar Blood Flow Stimulation Injury Recovery.

To heal fast we need the right temperature at the right time. Combined Therapy with both the Plantar ColdCure Wrap® and Plantar Inferno Wrap® will give you the greatest chance for a full, complete recovery.

When using a cold wrap it's important to have the frigid cold for the duration of your treatment. And with our RigiGel® unique formula, it's guaranteed to remain the correct temperature for the whole treatment period. Most gels start off cold but warm up after a couple minutes contact on our skin. ColdCure Wrap® gel is designed not just to stay in place but for the frigid cold to last much longer.

There's no better way to quickly reduce swelling and numb the pain! And if it's cold you're looking for, then the ColdCure Wrap® will give you just that - ice cold and compression treatment.

After the pain and swelling has gone down it's time for the Plantar BFST Wrap®.

The Plantar ColdCure Wrap® is specifically designed for Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy (BFST®). Your blood is the transport mechanism for everything that's good inside you. It carries oxygen, nutrients, water and antibodies. In order to get maximum blood flow to your foot, you need to help your body stimulate blood flow. With BFST® your foot is constantly being fed with healing, nutritious, oxygen and energy filled blood. This is exactly what your body needs to heal.

This is a fast, easy and pain-free way to increase blood flow and speed healing. it's the key to dealing with your painful foot injury.

Deep penetrating BFST® is much better for the healing process. Other ways to heat tissue only provide surface-level heat and almost all of this heat is absorbed by the skin, leaving no heat effect in the soft tissue in your foot.

You simply can't compare a Plantar Inferno Wrap® to any other method of heating! It's in a league of its own - stimulating blood flow, helping you heal and giving you that internal warmth that feels truly comforting.

Plantar Fasciitis Facts:

Plantar Fasciitis is the inflammation of the ligament that runs along the arch of the foot.

This condition affects over 2 million Americans.

Sufferers experience an intense stabbing pain in the heel.

Heel spurs can be caused by plantar fasciitis.

50% of people with plantar fasciitis have heel spurs.

The pain is most severe in the morning after the tissue has contracted during sleep.

I purchased this product recently for my plantar fasciitis. I've been using it about a week, and it has helped a lot with the pain when I first get out of my bed in the morning. I previously tried something else, that was more like a sock, that pulled the toes, and that only caused pain. This [night splint] is very comfortable to wear, and I love how much I'm able to adjust it! I would recommend this to anyone!

Dear Mend Me Shop, I was suffering from the beginning stage of plantar fasciitis and the freezie ice compression and the inferno wrap were a great help to me! The pain and inflammation is gone and if it creeps back up, I use the products for about 30 min each and it takes care of it! I have already recommended it to family members that also have plantar fasciitis. Sincerely, Lara

I am getting results by following the protocol MendMeShop laid out for plantar fasciitis. Last week I thought I would have to see a doctor or go to an emergency room as I could not bear weight on my foot it was so painful, first thing in the mornings. This week I'm much improved in the mornings, especially with wearing the splint at night. I am aware I'm not the least cured, but am moving in that direction and am relatively pain free. I'm very hopeful if I stick with what I'm currently doing, I will be able to get my long walks back into my life.
